Default Mustang Appearance DO's and DONTS.

lol

Yeah, so, we have some serious appearance ****'s on here, GottiDC got it pretty hard, hell he threw up a pic of some rims he was looking at and wasnt able to sit for a week, and now Carlitos with the black stang with the 20's and hood is gettin hauled through the coals.

i guess i have been guilty of it myself from time to time, but sometimes people here borderline having a mustang appearance ji-hiad against a lot of stuff.

lol

So i was hoping we could use this thread to address the Topic of Mustang TABOOS.

HERE IS HOW THIS GOES, im gonna throw out a list of what is "IN" and what is "OUT" from my personal opinion.

The next person will grab the list, modify or add to it as desired, anytime something goes from "IN" to "OUT" or vica versa you should explain why and put a real explanation not just "IT SUCKS" which knowing this lousy group of jackasses about half the reasons will be "IT SUCKS" anyways, so, you get the point. And put in a baasic idea of what you like to see on a mustang.

Personally, i feel that the car should be done in a way that nothing stands out, and everything compliments everything else, and when walking around the vehicle people will not be able to tell you exactly what has been done to it because everything seamlessly fits together as a whole.

HID's are good. Just HID's that are 10k or 12k are bad. I made an edit

So its alright to have to have carbon fiber for wieght redaction but not for appearance? What about if you get it for both reasons?

The rest of the list is perfect so far. Im sure most members of the forum would agree. Great list Jack!

Let me clarify,
Carbon Fiber Hood = OK for appearance because ity also reduces weight. Plus it can be painted.

Carbon Fiber pieces that service NO functional purpose like the carbon fiber side scoops, carbon fiber fake vents = bad

I think Euro Tail Lights, and angel eye projector headlights should be added to the OUT section.

Painted interior accent pieces In or Out? I think if it matches the car and isn't over done its good, but when you start getting steering wheel covers, floor mats from wal-mart it is Out for sure. What about Painted brake calipers, I see it as kinda tacky, but 10th anni. Cobra's had red calipers. Paint out and true calipers in? Lotta things to debate for this list.
