follow up ...headlight help, Are these the ones to buy?

I posted before about my ugly chrome projector headlights and wanted to know if this link shows the ones suggested- the smoked tint and clear corners. I want to buy the right thing this time.

ok... just bought them and posted the ugly projector lights on craigslist. I sure hope some one will buy 'them. Wish me luck and thanks for your advice. I cannot get the projector lights out of my Mustang quick enough.

Im sure that somebody with a perfectly good mustang with a 747 wing, altezza's, neons, spinning rims, and Vtec badging will see them and realize that is the final touch to thier mustang.

you might try to sell them on the V6 Mustang boards...just google it.

all the V6 guys there will probably flood your Inbox with msg's trying to get first dibs.

yeck...the chrome housing one's are ugly...had those on when i bought my car...they look too ricer.

I got the new headlights yesterday and they sent me the ones with the amber corners... I decided to keep them anyhow, don't want to go thru sending them back and driving around longer than I have to with the projectors. (They are still smoked lenses, though) They look so much better than those ugly projector lights . I even put them in myself and it was really easy. I cannot believe I actually did it! My mustang looks so much better. Those projectors were killing me. I felt like some crazy teenage kid trying to look cool .

I wish I had been brave enough to try to install the projectors myself, I paid some guy $75 to do it for me! Well, live and learn.
Now I know how to do it.

Thanks for the advice. I hope my Mustang can forgive me for driving it around looking like that for a week... oh well, on to bigger and better things now. I will definitely post and ask for advice before I tamper with it again. I have learned, gentleman.

Congrats on the headlights. If you ordered the clear corners and recieved the amber corner lights, thats like a $20 or so price difference. Go to the AmericanMuscle Sponsor section and let AMEmilie know, she's the Boards AM rep here and she'll take care of ya.

After this install you did, the next thing you'll know, you'll be breaking down an engine in your driveway, drinking a couple of cold ones while there's a Nascar race playing in the background on a little 13" B&W tv, wondering where you put the band-aids cuz you just busted a knuckle wide open trying to get that last damn bolt off, WELCOME to modding hehe...
