you don't know any history about the mustang do you.
i think there needs to be a rule about bashing sixers. not every one has the money to get a GT, and some people got sixers because of there age and there momy and dady make them work and don't just buy them a car. |

there is a rule... in the v6 forum. Everywhere else it's pretty much keep up with the big dogs or keep that puppy azz under the porch. We still like you but plan on a pickin'-on out in the yard if there's 2 missing holes in your motor and no blower/turbo/nitrous making up the difference.
There's v6 only sites where gt's get picked on... it's not like you can say you didn't expect it. C'mon really. |

i'd be embarrassed to drive a 4 cylinder mustang too. i think there ought to be a law against 4 & 6 cylinder Mustangs, Camaro's, Chargers, Challengers, and anything that previously held the title of MUSCLE CAR. |

Haha I drive a v8, but my dad has a Mustang that was originally a v6, so it has no fog lights, pony emblems, ect...
A few years ago he dropped in a 351 smallblock, so he runs about 425hp. Everyone always makes assumptions about the car being a v6, and then he blows off doors. I wish I could trade him ![]() |

If the V6 Mustang didn't exist we'd be in the same boat as a trans am or camaro right now. If i were you MixedBreed, i'd thank the V6 buyers.

I wonder how embarrassed the 2009 V6 Mustang owners will be when they're flying by the New Edge GTs....

Mystichrome is nice
http://www.sn95forums.com/MOTM/June07/ lol... can't get the exact color though. The company that made the paint for ford went out of business. SO to get any of the left over paint from ford will cost a fortune and you NEED to own a Mystic Cobra... If you are considering a "chrome illusion" type color... Theres another example... |

What's wrong with white? Enclosed is a pic of the only white car in my modest collection. This car gets more looks than my "pimped and ridiculous" mustang GT. The Saleen Focus ko (background) is a show winning attention getter that I am painting white this spring.

Black FTW!! Mine was black before, and I had gold GT stripes added when I repainted it black. The deal about painting it an entirely new color is that you have to repaint EVERYTHING - door sills, underside of trunk and hood, wheel wells, engine compartment, I mean EVERY place that is white now. (Remember Ford painted it when there wasn't anything attached to the body, so to get it done right, a good paint shop pretty much will try to do the same thing!) And those $$'s will add up quickly to make it look good. Just keep it white and add some accents. (And like has been said - lose the grille.)

Oh, and if you put a stripe from front to back - DO NOT paint the stripe on the bar over the windshield. It looks really dumb with the top up. No too dumb with the top down (just weird), but you gotta drive it in rain and cold too, right? LOL
