Sound System Almost Complete.

Sound System Almost Complete.
Well I've got My Pioneer 5900IB installed, the ipod is hooked up and tucked away, the satellite sirius tuner is installed, tucked away, and activated.
The Sound Destroyer Mat has been laid down.
Now I'm working on my sub box.
Got all sides cut today. Got the bottom and sides glued, and screwed in and caulked.
Got the sub holes cutout, and the terminal holes.
tomorrow is soldering the wires in, bolting the subs in w/ lock washers and bolts, screws just don't work too well, they tend to vibrate loose.
then I'm gonna glue and screw the rest of the box together and caulk it, then before I put the back on, I'm gonna spray rubberized undercoating inside the box, then seal it up. Then I get to carpet the box, and make it look all nice and neat. which it's a homemade box, and quite crude, but still should work just fine for my car.
spent $33 on materials to build my own sub box. it's definitely been interesting too. MDF (medium density fiberboard, 2 1/2" drywall screws (shoulda gone w/ 1 3/4" but oh well), and some heavy duty wood glue, and white silicone caulking.
Subs are 12" Kicker CVRComp DVC 07CVR122 2 ohm Subs
To be powered by a JL Audio 500.1 Monochannel Class D Amplifier
all the power wires and rca's and amp remote wires are already laid underneath the carpet (did this when I put my Sound Destroyer Mat in).
Hopefully by Sunday afternoon, my system will be completely done, installed, and working.
here's pics of the box I'm building (damn Mach 460 amp rack made this a PITA to install 12's, but I couldn't get a refund, and Cardomain.com wouldn't let me downgrade to 10's, so had to make it work, a box for 10's would have been a darn cake walk but such is life.

well unfortunately it did split near the edges and corners, but that was because i had the screws too close to the edges and the corners.

i pre-drilled every hole before I torqued in the screws...but the areas it did crack, were right on edges and corners, because I had the screws too close to the end/edge/corners.
