Default Sunroof?

Has anyone put in a sunroof? Was it a success or dismal failure? Thinking about it for my '02. Thanks.

I have never really heard anyone having consistent good luck in cutting a hole in the roof.

My uncle did it to his old F100 truck. It was fine for about a year then it started to leak. he eventually permanently sealed it, never to be opened again.

I personally wouldn't try doing it myself. I had 2 friends have it done at a reputable company and they both turned out fine. One has been in for over 3 years the other at least a year. If you decide to have someone else do it make sure they give you a good warranty with it (like lifetime). I wouldn't mind having one myself just not sure it would look right...but that is probably just because you never see many stangs with them!

It wouldn't hurt to look around and see what kind of deal you can get. A lifetime warranty would be a must, because like zigzag said, leakage is a bad problem. I think it would be great addition if it worked well. A little more air for non-verts. I guess you could do it yourself, and only take it out on sunny days.
