Looks good!

Im in the process of completing a car computer for my car. Ive got an AMD XP 1600+, 256 mb ddram, 60gb HD, Antec Overture II case, Holux 216 GPS, Lite-on 16x DVDrw, and ive got to get a screen, powersupply, and a new video/tv/radio card. Should be pretty badass. The computer is already up and running with all my music, a couple of movies, and has iGuidance and some other car pc programs on it.

I had thought about the Car PC but I really liked the AVIC. The new AVIC-Z1 is awsome, I wish I had the money to get one, The voice activation is cool as well as the Blue tooth Cell/laptop interface. The XM / Navtraffic was the winner for me over the Car PC. I live in a heavy traffic area (Washington DC) and having the nav traffic is fantastic.

I would like too see your finished product.

BTW, Love the color of your stang

The Pioneer AVIC-D1 you can find on the net or ebay for around 800.00
The Pioneer AVIC-D2 is around 1000 to 1200 There is no difference between the D1 and D2 except Software. The upgrade is 249.00 or find a friend that can burn Dual Layer DVD's.
The Pioneer AVIC-Z1 is the Latest and Greatest, 1900-2200 bucks, but man this thing has all the bells and whistles, you practiclly talk to it and it responds, makes calls on your cell phone all while giving you directions. the only thing it does not do is drive you there while you sleep.
This thing Rocks

But I am saving for a Supercharger so I am sticking with the D series.
These head units have a 50X4 amp that drive the stock speakers well, a little too well I might add, with the addition of a powered Kenwood Tube Sub woofer this system is awsome.
