Default Xtf

Hey SCT referred me over to the place of where I got my Xcal2. They said to ask Mustang Tuning to get the XTF file for my tune so I can change my gears. Would like to get my hands on this so I can do it ASAP. Thanks

Thats user error then, because you are allowed to modify your tunes.

Yeah I got a little more indepth with SCT moderator Ryan and he says that some of the dealers who sell them allow as much access as they desire Untill the Advantage firmware comes out everyone who cant will not be able to tune through the handheld. But just get the XTR file and uas the extreme tuning software SCT provides beside I prefer seeing all functions on my labtop before I load a new tune. The new advantage firmware should be available to the public sometime in August on SCT's site. Hope this answers some people's questions.

Your welcome.

FYI: The Advantage III software was just made available last week to all dealers. We purchased the software, and we will be able to email XTR files that are adjustable directly in the hand held in the near future.

My info from Ryan was fairly accurate. Did you guys get the minor bugs fixed on that software? Heard it wasn't much of a problem.

From what I have heard, the shops participating in the BETA testings found little if any bugs. I've been playing around with the software since we got it, and so far haven't encountered a single bug. (Which is more then I can say for the old software!)

XCal2 orders will probably start shipping out with the new style software tunes on Monday. Here is the official information post to keep you updated on the progress.
