Blow off valve question??

I have a P1sc and i am only making 9lbs. of boost. Will it be beneficial for me to use a blow off valve?

A blow-off valve releases boost pressure during shifts or during non throttle usage. It has no performance gains if thats what you are asking but it may save you from future damage from excess boost pressure.

Sorry, but I somewhat disagree. Not saying that if you replaced a good bypass you would see any gains, but I replaced my stock Procharger piece of junk with a Bosch one and now see 11# with the 8# pulley and over 14# with the 12# pulley on my P1SC at 6k rpms. So, if you have a stock bypass then get a BOV that can be used to bypass or an upgraded bypass. It will net you 2-3# of boost and probably 20 or more hp.. :D
