Ihave a 2004 4.6 2v just ordered a vortech should I get new intake if so which and what about cams and heads looking to get close to 450 hp.Car has 410s full slp exhaust and predator tune help me fly suspension parts coming

if you want 450 just intercool your setup and up the boost thats the cheap way to get to that number. For cams it depends on what you want to deal with on the street. You can go mild to wild and street manners will change accordingly.

HPS Hardball'r intake. Good intake, alot better than the professional products intake. Also, the new track heat intake from trick flow for the 4.6 would be a good option for you too. I have a vortech and I'm running the HPS intake. Has worked great for me.

that's what I was going to recommend. I run one on my 5.4 with adapter plates in heavily modified form. FABULOUS intake. Fit was great, install is moron simple. Makes great power.
