Default Superchargers and fuel pumps?

Ok so i've decided to save my money and around summer i want to buy a vortech it with an aftercooler. My question is... i'm gonna be running 42ib injectors and i want a strong fuel pump to safely support the s/c....what fuel pump should i get and WHERE can i purchase that item? I looked a lil at the steeda replacement fuel pump but i'm not sure thats enough for an sc.

in the past steeda pumps sucked. if i were you i would go with a single ford GT pump they are about 120-130 bucks. if you cant get one of those than go with a SVT focus pump, you may need a 20 amp kenne bell BAP though. i have no clue where you can buy these things but you could try getting with randy on a price.

ur local ford dealership's parts department should be able to get the GT or svt focus fuel pump. randy will give u a bit of a discount on stuff ya order thru him at "the parts desk" section on here. as for the BAP (w/e that is) i haven't a clue.

i use a focus pump and i maxed it out at 5200 RPMs so i had to through a BAP on it. so since your getting a blower with a after cooler there is a good chance you will pull over 400 hp so if you use a focus pump chances are it will be maxed.

randy, the parts desk.

no, you most likely wont need a BAP. but you have to put a different wire connection on the GT pump so it will hook up to your stock fuel hat. i only read about this i never did a install so search mod depot or somethin for a right up.

you can also use an aviator pump. IIRC they're like 310lph. That should be more than sufficient for your blower. Randy is still the best option for that.

I happen to have a spare brand new focus pump that I need to sell. 100 bucks + shipping if you want it.

I run a focus pump too and no BAP. I am really not sure where these things max out.

Just get a BAP, you should be fine with 42# injectors...

You can order from http://kennebell.net/accessories/boo...boostapump.htm
