I am a complete nitrous virgin. I have been looking at the Zex wet kit for my 98 Cobra . Is it a good kit to start with? Also what else will i need that it doesnt come with? Also what would i have to run my timing at to be safe?

You can run stock timing up to a 100 and be pretty damn safe. Above that pull 2* per 50hp. The zex kits are great for starts because there easy to install and pretty easy to use. The only thing i would do is get a msd window switch and upgrade the fuel pump if you plan to go over 100hp. A tune is a good idea to be safe also but on a 100shot our tunes are soo conservitive stock....
But a wet kit is a must go if you ask me and many others.

i wouldn't use zex, atleast not for any more than 75 shot they are kinda chintzy, if you are going to really use nitrous i would say nitrous express or if you have something against NX, NOS isn't bad either....both are way better than zex though

ZEX is a fine kit lots of people use them and i installed one in a freinds car who uses it. I wouldnt use them over 125hp as there noids are too small for anything more than that.

ZEX is tbe best kit for starters hands down! Agreed iI wouldnt suggest using it for any more than a 125shot tho. They are an easy 3 wire hook up, plus they have a built in FPSS to shut it off if the fuel mixure goes lean. The only thing you will be lacking with the ZEX kit is Nitrous, go to a local speed shop and get that bottle filled ASAP and have some fun.
