Venom Nitrous ?'s

PM WaterDR he probably knows best I think he has some pics of the install.

I installed one on my car. Probably took about 8 hrs, but if I had to do it again, it would take about 3. Hardest part is deciding where to put everythng and then tapping into all the injector wires.
Basic hand-tools are all you need and be sure to review the opperating instructions a few times. if you want to install the bottle properly to the trunk, you should drop the fuel tank but many guys probably do not.
Adding a bottle warmer or switches are a great thing to do but will add to install time.

The unit gets power from a Key-on power source. You tap into one of the key-on wires on one of the injectors. Additionally, all of the injectors need to be tapped as the Venom system adds additional fuel when you spray by changing the pulse width of the injectors.

Is it fairly simple to wire everything up? (just time consuming i suppose)

Its totaly different then any other power adder because when it turns on you get the full hit of extra power all at once so it goes from n/a to boom alot more power.
If you can do basic wiring like finding grounds, 12v key on power sources, constant 12v power source etc... you can handle wiring this up. The venom kit is going to have tons more wiring that is going ot be needed to be done compaired to other nitrous kits like compucar, nos,nx etc...
stock 2v are limited to the rwhp they can handle with the stock internals. Most guys at MOST stop at 150shots with bolt on's with stock short blocks. Of course thats on the extrem end of the spectrum. A 100 shot with full bolt ons is more common and a bit safer.
I will also add that there are tons of kits out there and all of them are pretty much good. So look around before you choose one.

Also there are soo many other kits out there besides NX.Most of the guys who tell you to use NX have never even used nitrous before which i dont get. regardless of what the NX nut swingers say there are many good companys out there. I think i looked for a good 2 months before i picked mine out. Be sure to look around. Off the top of my head i would say go look at NOS,compucar,ZEX,nitrous works, speedtech nitrous,edelbrock,dynotune,Ny-trex and there are even more.

Although I have never used nitrous, I stated that NX probably makes ONE of the best kits on the market because of all the research I have done. I've talked to plenty of people on other boards and here locally, and all of them have said that NX is at the top of the group. I have heard good things about all of them, but everyone I have talked to has seemed to suggest going with NX---even those who have a different system on their car.
