shes just packin the stock 4.6 under the hood. no mods done to the motor yet. by this summer she should be Charged. im thinkin about the vortech. before that though im puttin some DD wheels and im thinking about the saleen side skirts and the rear bumper. I bought the hood from Steeda. If anyone is thinking about putting a hood on your stang, this wouldnt be a bad choice. everyone i see always compliments me on the hood. thanks for all the compliments, you guys are really boosting my stangs ego, lol.

 

Im thinking about throwing some rims on her in march. what rims do you guys think i should get. Im thinking some black deep dish bullitts, or the black deep dish FR500s. i think a black rim would look nice with my yellow and black combo, and with my red brake calipers.

 

dont do the bullits, fr500's would look better imo.

Yep, still stuck out here...been here since '94. Switching from flying bombers to flying cargo haas got to be a MAJOR change for him. How long ago did he retire, I might know him...

Name sounds kinda familiar...I'm a crew chief on the B-1, so I may have run into him a few times. Did you have that hood on your car while you were here? I don't remember seeing any yellow Mustangs with cowl hoods on base. I've been out on North 1st a few times...just not sure it's my idea of cruisin. The last place I lived was southern Cali and cruises there were a lot different than Abilene Texas...

I was a little worried about putting the pony on there. im a big air force brat (hints why i have the AF brat plate on the front). i just thought the plate looked kinda strange on my car when nothing else on my car has red white or blue on it. so i saw the pony and my dad thought it would blend well. it looks alot better in person. also i like my car to look different since there are like 160,000 mustangs built each year. ive only had it on for like a month, im still gettin used to it

 

no offence, but i think without it, it looks cleaner, different is GOOD, like my car, all black rims with no chrome lip isnt common, i just think your stang would be so much nicer ( even tho its awesome now!) i think that stuff kinda "clutters" it up....but it IS your ride, and if you like em ( it doesnt sound like you do :P ) leave em...
