Looks nice, black and blue. I'd do the grill delete and pick a different emblem, might like that.

Give it some time, a lot of those bubbles will work themselves out.

If you know a diabetic or a junkie who can hook you up with a hypodermic you can suck the bubbles out, razors are not sharp enough.

mine look pretty good at first glance, but i have several i need to redo. i got a nasty bubble on my trunk, and some residual backing crap that stuck to the outer part of the stripe.

Actually, i really reccommend buying 2 stripe kits. only need 1 with pin striping, but sometimes it just doesent work too well.

me and my buddy had to try 3 times to get the tailgate on his truck done.

Yeh, I would recomment buying two kits also, especialy if it's your first time.

Anyway from the pictures it looks like you did a pretty good job, you better be glad you did'nt stripe a rear spoiler that thing was a ****.

I'm probably going to get a second kit after christmas and do the front and back of my car. Slappy how did you manage to do the front bumper. I could not get the stripes to fit right were the grill area curves.

front bumper sucked. <grin> Take off the grill delete, .... take off... the grill delete? doesent that sound strange?

anyways

take off the grill delete first off. measure out the stripes, leave yerself plenty of slack. what you have to do here is stretch the stripe out of shape where the bumper forms up near the headlight.

I did this by first getting the front of the bumper first, once that was smoothed out and looking good , with my left hand i helf that sum-bitch in place and used my right hand and grabbed the stripe and stretched it as i pulled the stripe back in twoards the radiator.

there are several methods you can use. One that has been suggested is the use of a heat gun, or a blowddryer. this can help, but it can hurt too.
Before you **** around with the blow dryer get a spare piece of stripe and cook it with the blow dryer, this will give you an idea on how careful you have to be, too much heat and the stripe deforms and becomes unusable.

i reccommend stretching it. Get the front part on, grab the part that goes in the grill and stretch it. Not too hard, gently and carefully.

This is also why i never reccommend any stripes over 10 inches. 8 is hard enough to fit to the forms. 10? hell, i wouldnt even attempt it.
