MMM I like snow since I never see it. Good Ol' sunny Florida :D I woke up to 60 degrees, no humidity, no clouds, and rode to work with the windows down at 6:30 this morning. NICE!

shad0ws 10-10-2005 07:45 AM

People are funny from Ca when it comes to geography. I lived there for four years and grew up in Chicago. Natives from Ca think Chicago is on the East Coast. Ask a native from California to name all the states and they will say:

"California, Oregon, Arizona, Wyomming, ND, SD, Co and then a bunch of little states". It's funny. I used to tease Ca people about that when I lived there.

San Diego is awesome. I can't wait to get back. Best climate in the US.

SpinMedia 10-10-2005 12:05 PM

you have a really nice neighborhood springs, thats the type of neighborhood i wish i could someday live in.

Springstang, yeah, where in the springs do you live? I used to live in Briargate. it was lame.

jjtgiants 10-10-2005 12:48 PM

I'm cracking up over MT#1's California comment....It's so true. I guess when your state is the 5th largest economy in the world and has everything from snowboarding to surfing to wineries to whatever else you could possibly imagine, it makes it easy to not look beyond California.

By the way, I think your right about San Diego....it's probably the best weather in the U.S. I live in the SF East Bay and it's pretty damn nice, a little foggy sometimes, but pretty damn nice...... as a matter of fact I had my top down yesterday! ha ha ha.....sorry to rub it in SpringStang!

Lances03SVT 10-10-2005 01:52 PM

Damn Springs that sucks.I thought it looked like a little bit of snow mixed in with the rain during the Bronco game last night.

I've lived all over California.San Rafael in the Bay,Huntington Beach in LA and was stationed at Fort Irwin near Barstow.

Badfish 10-10-2005 02:13 PM

I live north of Briargate...Briargate houses are so packed together..

It SUCKED on the way to school, I was all over the place, def not used to it(used to drive a lifted jeep) my ABS and traction control were freakin out the whole way, I almost lost control about 10 times, I almost slid thru a red light...ugh, and tonight we're supposed to get 4 more inches

hopefully I wont have to drive in that crap tommorrow

AMEN to that. we hardly EVER see snow. but we damn sure see alot of 100+ days. the humidity pumps it to 110+. so, i would LOVE to be there right now.

jadartt 10-10-2005 10:04 PM

Sorry about the snow, but I live in Fairbanks Alaska so at least I can relate to sliding around in the GT. I too woke up to a fresh batch of the slick stuff.

shad0ws 10-10-2005 10:47 PM

Hey, would you mind packing some of that snow up and bringing it down here. Then sprinke it heavenly down past the school administrators window when he wakes up tomorrow. That would be greatly appreciated.

macs03GT 10-11-2005 12:38 AM

Damn...it's was 84 here today...and 89 tomarrow. Crazy. That's tucson for ya though. I LOVE snowboarding though. I wish we had it like that now. I drive 4 hours every weekend in the winter to snowboard!!!

Academy BLVD sucks driving all year round now. last time i was in the springs about a month or two back, it was a tuesday at 2pm and traffic totally sucked.

I-25 is usually blocked up, and from what i hear Powers isnt any better.

Glad i live in Littleton.

madmatt 10-11-2005 11:39 AM

I would hate to live in snow like that...bah. I like driving my car year round. But its been chilly walking to class lately. I think weve had misty rain for two days straight now...oh well, it could be pouring I guess.

Fat Lard 10-12-2005 07:03 AM

Try waking up to 85 degrees in the morning and 100% humidity. Then going to around 100 in mid-day...still with 100% humidity. Fun stuff.

MidTex01GT 10-12-2005 07:07 AM

Out here in West Texas, we are just looking to get some cooler nights at the track to keep intake temps down!

But as a former resident of North Dakota, (yeah people do live in that state) I have awoken to many a day where you couldn't even get out of the HOUSE because you were literally SNOWED IN!

wade95 10-12-2005 08:14 AM

Little early for that much snow isnt it?? Anyhow, here in the Tampa Bay area (Florida) it's decent today just sticky as heck from the humidity. Im getting rather tired of Florida summers myself, but I'll never be prepared for that much snow. Snow is for vacation time when I go to Tahoe or Steamboat.

And I thought SC's weather was crazy, but I was reading on the depot this morning, someone from littleton said he was riding his motorcycle this past weekend with 85 degree temps, and woke up monday/tuesday to snow... Of course, it was 65 degrees on christmas day here last year (or at least right before christmas break.)

Badfish 10-12-2005 02:58 PM

Even if its -10 outside, as long as the pavement is dry im happy :)

Heh, back in the military when i was stationed in Ohio (yeah that sucked) it got so freaking cold out it was painful.
Then you get a nice ice storm to wash by and blanket everything in a sheet of ice.

i hate cold weather. but i hate tsunami's and hurricanes more. <grin>
