True Blue New Pics
Sorry about the picture quality and dirty car, but I was losing light and I was in a hurry. I will have better ones real soon. This is a surprise 16th b-day present for my son. He will get it in early October. I just had the following installed. 18x9 / 18x10 anthracite bullits (thx Mustang Tuning) with locking lugs on 265/35/18 and 285/35/18 Sumitomo HTR ZII tires. H&R Sport springs.
I installed the 3 piece grill delete, mach 1 chin spoiler, and dont forget the ever important 14" black antenna.
Many thanks to Lance for all his help.
One pic is a side by side with before mods and after. More to come.

Very cool thing of a dad to do. It will make it extra sweet for him since you are into Mustangs. That sort of thing will make a great father son relationship with a car to bond with. Congrats for being an awesome dad and congrats to your son on his 16th B-Day. Very lucky kid.

Several months ago my dad bought my mom a 40th anniversary Stang for their 35th anniversary. She had no idea. She knew she was getting a new car but didn't know when. My dad had been looking at cars all week and told her he was sick and tired of looking at cars and wanted to just wait until they got back from a trip they were about to go on. I found the car and my dad bought it the day before their trip so they could drive it. I met my dad at the Ford dealership. He drove his truck home because I wanted her to see him pull up in his truck so she would have no idea. I waited about 10 min and pulled in the driveway. Honked the horn several times and I hid behind my dads truck. My mom said there is some idiot in the driveway honking their horn. She walked out and told my dad someone was here in a red Mustang. He grinned and she realized it was hers. She said she hadn't been that happy since I was born. Good stuff!! You should do something interesting like that for your son.

Thanks for the compliments guys, Im trying to make it nice for him. It's an 03 with 11,600 miles on it. Very good shape. I have some MGW interior stuff hopefully coming this week and Lance is leaning me towards a new catback system soon (can I have my credit card back Lance? )
The car has been hiding in the garage about 75 feet from his bedroom window and he has no clue! It will be a fun surprise.
I know Im spoiling him, but he's a great kid. Never gives us any trouble, 3.5+ GPA, all star baseball player and football player. So I think I'll try and ruin all that by getting him a hot car..lol....hmmmmm
More mods to come soon. Dont tell the wife.

If i call you dad too can u buy me a GT?? lol jp
In my family if i want something i gotta sell it to my parents, well 3 car dealerships, a speeding ticket in a 2002 GT during a test drive (my dad's ticket lol floored it passed a cop doin 60 in a 35...) and 16,500 dollars later i got my Mustang...(i'm a spoiled isht) and i know it, but i take care of her...just put a fresh coat of wax on her yesterday. Unfortunately my dad and grandfather are Chevy guyz...
When i get older and have kids I hope i can do the same for my kid. BUT YEAH NICE GT LOOKS REAL GOOD!

Lucky kid...That's a badass car for being 16...you gotta setup a camera in the garage before you open the door and post it up...I bet he freaks out and doesn't believe it's his, that or if he's really spoiled he's gonna ask why it's not a Cobra . Be sure to tell him about the site when you hand over the keys.

I would highly recommend the Lowe's Rear Wing Delete Kit, with optional Ford touch up paint... Retails about $15...
