YESSIIIRRRR!!! And it looks 122334123445445618163879 X's better than the **** for brains body work that the dealer did on the hood when you had it removed. Just couldn't take staring at those damn bumps in the hood anymore. It will all be short-lived anyway though.. New hood will be on the car at some point in the near future.

no show all go... my style. You are too blingy for me sir. Your ride, not mine, bling away...and yes...black chrome is still chrome, is still bling.
Good to see you are enjoying the car tho... kinda neat to still be able to see it, even if I dont prefer the direction its gone in the style department.

I cant stand fake scoops, no matter how good they might look. Fake is fake is not good. To each his own I suppose.

What you fail to see is the fact that Dave had the original hood scoop removed, and in doing so instead of taking it to a real body shop he let the dealership fill and paint the hood (bad idea). It basically looked like they had taken body filler, slapped it in the holes and painted it without sanding or leveling the surface... Over time because of the crappy surface, the paint on the hood started to crack around the holes. I was not having anymore of that.
Dave... I know you don't like the car. There's nothing bling about it, in-fact it is one of the more plane and simple cars anywhere near me or even on the forums for that matter. I got more compliments @ NMRA for being simple and not doing the same thing as everyone else than I ever would have imagined.

I would have to say Evan's "fake" scoop is justified here...
Hey some things are nice "fake" you all have to admit, consider hollywood for that matter, where would we be without alot of fake things we seem to adore in movies!

thats the OEM Ford fake scoop silly.
and..Evan, I agree, the dealership body shop did a shitty job. Paint wasnt cracking when I had it...you must have added too much power, and the hood didnt like it..lol. Also, I do like your car to a degree... and I am the weird one, I know. Id rather people think I was driving a 6er. chrome wheels are bling, painting the interior is bling... see im weird.

Is there a thread on here about how to make the GT hood scoops functional? I know it wouldn't really do that much performance wise, but atleast you could tell people it wasn't fake then.
I put the scoop on my car, and even though it's fake, it looks really good in my oppinion. But that's just me.

Should be 5 bolts that will have to be removed and yes it's under the insulation. Shouldn't be any double sided tape or anything, but you never know. Be careful when you take it off, if it's been on forever it could be stuck to the clear coat on the hood.
