Default New car for me

So it was time to get a new (used) car. Needed a 4 door so I could actually haul people around plus for future children. I definitely like the car. For 225hp it's got some damn good get up and go and handling is quite nice. I like the subtle look of it compared to the older models. Had to compromise some with the wife on the car choice, but price, payments, and driving fun is all there. It's an 08 by the way. Would've liked to have gotten an 09 with the bump in HP, but it just wasn't in the cards.

Enjoy the crappy cell pics for now.

Haha, my wife wants me to sell the mustang. She hates it, but I can't just let it go like that. Besides, who's gonna buy a 2000 supercharged GT with 143,000 miles on it, can't pass smog in Cali and the hood is fading and peeling.

Thanks guys for the comments. It's definitely a fun car to drive around. It's kinda nice driving to work in the morning and being able to hear my music. Cruising on the freeway around 70mph in 5th gear and flooring it is actually quite a surprise. Picks up quicker than doing the same thing in the mustang. Plus having the full bumper to bumper warranty for the next 100k miles is a plus.

It must be a jealousy thing they have, I have the same issue! Just keep it like that and then you will have excuses to back up why you cant get sell it!

yep... my slobalt launches pretty bloody hard but there's just something about AWD that makes me worry about getting stomped. Thankfully I also have no-lift-shift and launch control.

I just gotta work on launching the AWD. It's a bit different especially with less torque than the stang. I need to work on upping the hp a little, but all in all it's a fun car and drives real nice.

I dont have any of that stuff on my car to control launch. Torque steer is scary and I have had the wheel ripped from my iron grip before. The torque in this speed at 3500-4000 is nice and got me pulled over a couple days ago by a local Pinole cop. He said I pulled you over because your car sounds like it has illegal modifications, LMAO! I still got a fix it ticket for not having my front plate attached. I bet he felt like a douche when I popped the hood for him to find all factory hardware in the engine bay. My car is bone stock besides the aftermarket wheels.
