Default The New Ride :)

Well I totaled the white GT some of you may have seen that I purchased just over a year ago. My elbow is still healing from the accident as I dislocated it and so is my ego, but I made out pretty good and ended up with this beauty. It's an '03 and had just over 20,800 miles when I bought it; I've only tacked on about 400 miles thus far. It is bone stock with only a drop-in K&N filter, just the way I wanted it. Premium package with charcoal leather inside that is in pristine condition. I drive the beater to work and in the rain and this only comes up when I got to see friends, girls or when I'm going for a cruise and it's nice and sunny out. Just the way it should be!

Did a wash and wax with some Meguiar's NXT liquid wax and I was quite impressed. Going to try a full set of Poorboys products next though.

Plans for the near future are 3.73 gears, a tune, the Starter Box from MM, the MGW short shifter, and a cat-back, preferably a Borla. Enjoy

Not bad, not bad.
I was thinking it was a Cobra for some reason, I was like oh ****.
What's a MM Starter Box, suspension?

Yeah thanks man. I wish I could have a Cobra, who doesn't? But right now with me being in school I am quite content with an '03 GT with just over 20k on the clock. And yeah, suspension from Maximum Motorsports. I want to get rid of that 4x4 look.

Congrats !!! Nice car, but I'm a little bias when it comes to that color (Dark Mineral Grey) right?

How much did you pay if you don't mind me asking. I'm going to get a Termi by the end of the year, if not sooner and hoping not later.
I didn't know they called them Starter Box, a that's why I had to ask. haha
Yeah it does suck, mine looks hella funky compared to yours. I can't lower mine until I do something about my exhaust, for some reason (I didn't do it or anything) my exhaust sits to low.

Very clean looking car. I have been contemplating getting the road/track box from MM, just not sure if I want to try the starter box first.

The only thing your car needs is a Mach 1 chin spoiler. Anyone else agree?

Even though I don't really like them.
First thing I'd do is tinted windows, I can't stand clear windows. haha

Thanks folks! Chin spoiler and grill delete are definitely up there also. The car right now has 70% tint front and rear, and it's nice, but it's not quite dark enough for me. I'm contemplating between 15%, 20%, and 35%, but that's another topic. My only gripe about the car right now is the tint on the rear window is peeling at the dot matrix so I definitely have to get that taken care of.

You'll be happy with the NXT until about 2 weeks from today. lol

My baby's getting the Poorboys treatment tomorrow.

Good looking replacement though. Grille delete, Chin and Springs STAT. As far as the tint, I personally think that 35% is plenty.

Great looking 03 with low miles like that... Dam.. I thought I was doing good with 30 k on my 04.

At least a chin spoiler, just because they shoulda been factory installed on every stang..

Pretty sure he's implying you can't drive and that you'll wreck the cobra. But thats just pure speculation. By the way, how are you going to afford a cobra and insurance? aren't you young?

Nice ride, I love the reflections off your car of the sky.

I hope I never have to buy a different car simply because of those horrific plates. My friend just bought a pearl white Nissan 370z and those plates just look horrible on them.

Nice ride, Kyanbi! A great find, too. It's awesome that you were able to find one with such low mileage and that is unmolested. Can't wait to see the progress on it.

I'd almost venture to say the vast majority of people who have one have no idea how to handle a car with that kind of power. I mean, I'd like to have one, of course... but I'd probably wrap the ****** around a pole or slam it straight into a wall.

I mean, being able to say "I'm 19 years old and I have a bad-*** Cobra" means something, right? What that really means is; "I'm 19 years old and have a bad-*** Cobra. I am now considered anorexic because I can't afford food. I wanted to have this car to make me look cool, even though I really have no clue how to drive it. I know bitches love my car, but I can't pick any of them up to sleep with me because I weigh 75lbs and look like a decrepit crackhead."

Damn I just can't decide what to do first. I don't have ALL the coin to do everything I want at once lol. I think I might focus on ergonomics at the moment. The car is plenty fast enough for my 20-year-old right foot at the moment but I would love to lower it and throw a MGW in it!

1. Chin Spoiler
2. Mach 1 Grille Delete
3. Tint
4. Starter Box from MM
5. Borla Exhaust

Now you car looks and sounds like a beast.

Then the gears, tune, and MGW shifter. By the way I have put 250 miles on my new MGW and it's ******* great, but still needs to loosen up a bit.

Got the tint fixed today. Actually I got it all re-done as per how I wanted. No more ugly dot matrix mess. Pictures will follow shortly!
