Default Nashville Superspeedway Track Day (Lots of Big Pics)

Got back on Monday from the Nashville trip. There were a lot of fast cars and good drivers at this event, I was suprised. Amanda got some good pictures. I didn't get any video of my best sessions. One I was driving slow, and another it was raining. In my better sessions I passed some Corvettes, Acura NSX, tailgated a Porsche, and a Honda S2000 spun out trying to keep up with me through turns 8 and 9. Got passed by some fast older Mustangs, and pretty much anyone who was able to keep up with me I let pass. About half of my group were on race tires.

Nice pics! Looks like a lot of fun! I was suprised with the amount of body roll you had in the one pic. I know your lowered and all, I just didnt expect to see that much I guess. But good fun pics though!

The car actually has very little body roll, especially compared to any mustang that is near-stock. The tires are only about an inch from the fender as it sits and maybe two inches of suspension travel.

This is the body roll you'll see with H&R SS springs, and you don't even want to imagine a stock spring'd car going through turns as fast as I do. A normal Mustang will feel like it is falling over on itself.

Yea I notied the body roll as well but I was thinking it was because of how fast you were driving also. That really looks like a crazy amount of fun.. Car looks very nice by the way...

Great pictures, I wish I could have made it out there but instead I went camping with the family. Looks like the event was fun, sucks I couldn't make it.

It is fun, I think everyone should do some type of racing at least once.

You should have came out. They were letting us take passengers durring sessions and letting people take parade laps in any car they wanted. I was looking for a Yellow Mustang just in case you did come out.

Damn, I really missed out. I actually missed the signup date by one day, I was on the computer on a Saturday morning at 2 or 3 looking for race events and was like, ****! I can't believe I missed it by a couple of hours. I called later on and was told I couldn't enter in late.

They will have another one in September with a show, but I won't be able to make it.

Dude, you need to do it. It's a lot more fun than autocross. I hated standing around all day to get six runs that last a minute. Our cars need more space. With open track, you may be there all day, but you'll be on the track driving for over an hour.
We had seven 15 minute sessions per day. So I was on the track for like three and a half hours over the entire weekend.

Well, it sucked gas like I'd never seen before, I couldn't get the gas cap off once, and had a blowout two hours from home. So changing a tire on the side of the interstate was kinda bad. Other than that the truck did fine. It was just super stressful pulling the trailer and worrying about all that. I don't think I will ever haul my car to an event again unless it's my truck and my trailer.

Yeah, I was leaving the Little Rock area on I-30. I had got on a bumpy stretch of asphault and didn't didn't anything of it. Next thing I knew, BOOM! I saw the tire comming apart in the mirror and hit the brakes, the back end of the truck feel down, tires screetching. I was super super lucky that I was able to steer it to the shoulder and had all my tools and a spare to change out out with.
