Default Finally put on the Christmas presents!

I had a little time to work this weekend so i put on the stuff I got for christmas. The pics arent the best but i have before and after for them.

I removed the hood insulator, added the mach 1 chin spoiler and grill delete.

Side note... easter today= young cousin in easter dress with buttons on the front. She decided to jump on my hood
I think the scratches will come out when i detail it later this spring/summer, but i was still pissed.

I used a polish on my car to move the spoiler back. It pulled off almost all of the marks, although if you look very very closely you can see it.

You need to get some double sided tape for the low side of the Mach 1 delete, it's pretty common for it not to sit flush and have to tape it down.

Other than that she is lookin' great man! Nice work!

I had my side scoop fly off at 135 mph at a race track and slide down the asphalt, most of the scatches came out after some work so you should be good on that end.

This is what both of mine look like, making special note to the indentation on the last hole. I have like a chunk sticking out of it. I'm just going to see about getting the holes filled somehow and getting it repainted for the spoiler delete instead of moving it back.

There is some on it, the tape doesnt want to stick to my bumper, and i think the plastic is warped a bit from sitting in my room for 4 months. I tried some 3M tape but that didnt work either. Once I git a chance I'm going to pick up some mounting tape and try that.

Go to walmart, go to the home section and pick up some 3m outside mounting take. I used it for my badge when I took it off, it works great. It's double-sided and is very sticky. Stuck right to my trunk. comes in grey foam with red plastic raping the tape. ~$3.86

Looks good; it does take your car to a new level! Are both the grill delete and chin spoiler off AM? I know some people were complaining about AM's "shiny" chin spoiler compared to the old-school matte one and I'm not sure which one you have.

Looks so much better. You need to lower it though really badly.

MOTHER ****** I DONE TOLD YOU STANGMODS SELLS THE MATTE CHINS!

Hi Kevin, ours are the matte textured OEM style. We don't carry the glossy ones like AM sells.

Best Regards,

StangMods Customer Support

I got it from stangmods, they had the mach 1 package.
I know I need to lower it, i need to go through th front end this summer so I might buy some springs for it if I have some extra cash... The only problem is there are some streets I would have to avoid up here, I can't even begin to describe the lack of quality in the roads. Sewer access covers are recessed like4-6' into the asphalt, potholes and cracks are everywhere.
If I can't get springs im going to get new tires for the front that are a little taller and move them to the back to fill the gap a bit.

Out of curiosity, did you tint/ blackout your tails? or have the blackout panel? I have been looking for some pics of that but the ones I see are either not very good quality or on cars that have something crazy on them... im thinking of doing that this summer.
And you should totally get it I got a lot of comments on it in the first week from people I barely know. Besides its a pretty easy install

I spray tinted them with the VHT Nightshades.

I'm not trying to hijack your thread lol but I attached a few pics of what it looks like.

I'm thinking about getting the blackout panel, I just want to photoshop (And by photoshop i mean MSPaint ) it on first to see how it looks in combination with my tinted taillights.

Nice, the pics help a lot! I tried to do it on there, i could imagine the way it would look... i need one because the person that had my car before must have had some star stickers on either side, when i wash it or wax it i can see the difference in how it faded and it bugs me to no end
