Default New truck

Just found a deal I couldnt pass up on. 1979 F-150. Its got a 351M and an auto, 4x4. The truck drives and runs great and just needs a few bits and pieces to get it legal. The best part, I paid $500 for it, the guy needed the money bad. I think I'm gonna use it for a DD.

Looks good for its age.

But, holy ****. All I can seem to look at is the muffler on that Talon.

I don't think that I even need to say it, but damn good buy man! That truck looks incredibly nice for how old it is and I can't believe that the guy was willing to give it away for that...

Come on now, its not that big. Its only a 3" turboback. The Magnaflow catback you see was on the car when I got it. Again I got the Talon on a great deal too.
Its a 95 TSI AWD. Its prob got around 290 AWHP after I modded it out a little. Not very slow like the typical ricer cars you see with giant cans out the back.

It's not that it's massively huge or anything. It just sticks out like a sore thumb is the best way I can describe it.

Gotcha. Maybe because its not a cannon like you would usually see.

I think the pipe on the talons too small... you need a 6inch tip on it.

And hell of a buy if u drive short distances. Everything's spaced out here and gas eats me up. Thats why my DD is a 2.2 s10 with a 5speed. I get like 28mpg.

The stang is in storage as it is still winter here in PA. Maybe no snow right now, but the roads are just covered in salt, cinders, and junk. I am getting close to getting it out for the season, maybe in a month or so.
