Default Too good of a deal to pass up

Well, yesterday I sold my saleen rim/tire setup. I was planning on getting my meth kit with it, but the guy buying the setup asked what i was planning on doing as my new setup. I told him i wanted to go with pro stars bigs/skinnies. He told me about a guy that had a rear rim/tire setup for sale, that was a steal. man, he wasnt kidding. Here is what i bought this evening:

The rims are 15x9 (yes 9, they are custom made...the 8's are too small and sit inside the fender, so the guy got them custom made to 9") with a 5.5 backspace. The tires are 275/60/15 MT ET Street Radials. THIS RIM/TIRE SETUP HAS 30 MILES ON IT. Yep, 30 miles. The guy even threw in lugs/center caps with the buy. I got this all for $500. He had $1100 for this custom setup. Now I just gotta work on getting the skinnies up front:

(sorry, these were taken with my cell phone in my garage at 10:00 at night)

eh, i wouldnt say its only for racing or strictly strip....i only put about 4-5k miles a year on this car....it only gets driven to car shows, occasional weekend cruises, and i want to start running her at the track.

alll you need now is some 3" studs...im only getting the studs so i wont get kicked off the track. Also looks like you have a 28" tire which should be perfect for your AODE and 4.10's...if you had 26" tire you would bounce the limiter at 108-109 at 6k rpms. Remember your cars braking is gonna suck when the skinnies go up front.

yeah, i may go with 3" studs. we will see. thats the reason i went with the 28" tall tire because of my current setup. yeah, ive heard braking will really suck. thanks for the heads up

Don't you love how modding is really a never ending process? I have dumped so much money into my car and I still need to do some suspension mods and build the rear end...Nice car man it has come a long ways...very tastefully modded.
