Looks like a great start! Some springs and wheels and that thing will be hot! Welcome to the boards!

2000V8 10-06-2009 09:03 PM

agreed lower it as for the rims i have never like those rims until i saw them on your car they look great i would leave those until you get tired of them and start on performance now

krenogin 10-06-2009 09:11 PM

thats like the sweetest stock mustang ive seen (new edge).. with springs it would look amazing

Badfish 10-06-2009 09:17 PM

I can't hear a damn thing.

Just kidding. :) That's one clean mustang. It's just begging for some black FR500s

Mr. Zip 10-06-2009 09:44 PM

You suck.

As for the car, not bad. Springs and black 500s are a must, but overall it looks good.

krenogin 10-06-2009 10:20 PM

lol i only said it because i thought i would move up in the ranks on here.. promise!

King 10-06-2009 10:23 PM

Awesome ride, you should come to the next Florida meet (whenever we decide to do it)

It'll probably be in a month or two

Lazerred6 10-07-2009 03:43 AM

It's both, duh.

staleygreg 10-07-2009 08:19 AM

Very nice, did you get your exhaust dumped up under the bumper?

LilMissLayla 10-07-2009 10:02 AM

I like. Welcome!

suckmystang04 10-07-2009 06:15 PM

hey, thanks for the replys, and yes, the exhaust is dummped at the muffler. i had the tailpipes for it, but it just didnt work out, cause at school, we didnt have everthing needed to do it right, so i just got rid of, an doing the rest of it was easy. iam an auto tech student btw... also, ill be going to the track on friday :) ill post the times. rims- prbly not gona get for long time, lowering springs will be soon. oh, and haha about the wing, some days it looked good with it off, and some with it on, but its on for good, cause the paint is screwed underneeth.

staleygreg 10-07-2009 06:43 PM

This might be a dumb question, but isn't it bad for it to be dumped halfway down the car? I always thought it was better to dump it back under the bumper towards the back of the car.

Wombozi17 10-07-2009 09:08 PM

That is great! Super clean. Welcome to the boards!

No hating... but a little bit of proper grammar/correct spelling goes a long way.

spike_africa 10-08-2009 05:39 AM

I would rock that as a DD because its nice and clean. I like it!

staleygreg 10-08-2009 12:54 PM

Wow, so I just got back from one of the local shope in town, and they said 1. they could not make my exhaust dump and 2. if i did it myself it would make it sound bad and hurt the performance of the car due to no back pressure on the exhaust. is this true?

Slim03GT 10-08-2009 01:51 PM

Clean car mang. Looks good.

engineman312 10-08-2009 04:33 PM

i couldn't see the drilled and slotted rotors in the pics you posted, but what compelled you to think that a stock 3.8L mustang needs that kind of stopping power???

well, first i needed brakes so i decided to get them, they stop much better then with the stock ones, and i had changed my brakes to other solids befor, and the drilled and slotted stop much better. and they were just as easy to put on. ill have pics of them on the car, in a day or so 2 more pics... and about the dumps, dont listen to thoes people at the shop, i when i first quoted a few places, they said that my car will sound like a motorboat, so screw them. just keep your cats, and ull maintain ur back pressure, and i went with an H pipe, so thoes generaly create more pack pressure then the x pipe, thats why H is deeper then x.

That crap they gave you guys about losing back pressure is just that.. crap. You may lose some low end torque (like I did on my last car,) but it won't actually hurt anything.

staleygreg 10-08-2009 06:02 PM

okay good to know. i think im going to call up a couple of other shops around town and see about it tomorrow.
