The boxes of tiles that I bought were taking up a lot of room so I decided to start working on the garage. Im going to add a black rubber base board and add red paint to the step up plus a trim molding to break up the black and white. I also need to add a shop light under my bumper to illuminate my work bench that I made out of two rolling tool chests. Im also going to make the lights funtional to add some mood lighting. I also going to get rid of the water heater and add an electric one later down the road to gain more space.
Theres still a couple of things I need to add plus do some more painting but heres what it looks like now.
The bottom two pics look crapy since I took it with my phone.

damn man, that's a awsome garage. wish mine looked like that. still haven't painted the cowl huh? where did u get your flooring. ive heard great things about those tankless water heaters. they can really free up some room because of their size

Nope as the paint is not going to add any HP . I would like to paint it but think Im going to leave it for last. Im going to add a smaller pulley and try to get it above the 600hp mark shortly so I can finish up all motor work.
I love the floor and installation plus clean up is easy.

Damn your garage is sick dude. I wish I had an area like that designated to work on my car (if I had the money to work on it like that haha).
And your car is so sick... 600 HP? thats insane... Might be a dumb question, but your cars street legal right?

very nice home setup. What brand did you get? we used to have that flooring at my job but keep it clean as it will stain...and if you spill stuff peel it up because it will seep through it and get the concrete. When i some day buy a home i want to use the U Coat it paint on flooring stuff they warrenty it for life.

Nice setup. I just went through mine last January and cleaned it up and did the floor too. I almost went with the tiles like you did, but they just aren't shiny enough for me. I did an epoxy coat with clear and flakes on mine.

I went with Motofloor sold at Costco. Its is made by the same manufacturer that makes Racedeck but considerally less money when its on sale. The motofloor is a hair thinner than the Racedeck stuff so if you own a shop and are going to do a lot of work on cars Racedeck would be a better option. The flooring has space in the underside for drainage. If you spill liquids it will drain under there and dry out unless its something like oil which you may remove tiles or add some degreaser and water. I dont plan on doing any heavy stuff therefore adding this floor is fine for me but it does get costly compared to adding a coating.
I had several choices for the washer and dryer. I picked the ones that match the midnight blue Craftman tool chests. The are made by LG and are awesome and yes since its my garage I have laundry duty .
My plan is to not have anything on sides of the garage besides the shop vac, compressor and pressure washer at max. If the weather is bad my wife has the option to park her car inside the garage or under the portacache.
