crappy cell phone pic of my bike. Riding season is pretty much over, but today was nice, so I gave her a nice farewell ride.

there is a 92 gixxer 750 for sale in my area that I want bad. its in great shape for $2500; I want an older bike because full coverage on new bikes sucks especially since I just got pulled over, my insurance is gonna sky rocket. Badfish how much do you pay for insurance on the 750????

Whats a good bike to buy? I'm not really into the fast aspect, just a sporty one. Used probably.

the cheapest "sporty" bikes new that aren't super sports would be; kawasaki ninja 250 or 500 or a suzuki gs500
If your going used you can find alot of sportbikes cheap like a katana or yzf600r

that bike you linked too is a ninja 250 (250cc)its actually probably a little slower than your stang in the 1/4 mile and will top out probably a little over a 100mph and get awesome gas mileage. But I would probably just get a used bike; (buy mine haha)

Nice shots of the cheap bike lol. A bike is worth it if you get a used one and drive it alot or longer distances etc... I ride my Vstar more then my car now days. Mostly cause its more fun.

That is one of the BEST bikes you can buy for the money. It's an amazing starter bike, has sporty styling, will teach you to ride, it's forgiving, and the get ridiculous gas mileage! Everyone that I've talked to (internet and real life) absolutely loves that bike. you can't go wrong with it. good luck finding one though.

I love the 250R. I wanted a scooter a few months ago, then discovered that pretty little thing. I was considering it seriously when I realized everyone in this city can't drive for crap and most of the bikers are jerks anyway. In the end though, if it were my first bike, I think i'd go with a used 600. For one thing, i'm going to drop it and i'd cry if it was a brand new bike.

Badfish, that Evo of yours must do you some good in CO during those 7 months. Its too bad you don't have the ACD(Active Center Differential) since they came with 05's+. My boyfriend had an Evo for a little over a year and it was a blast to drive!

you can get used ninja 250's and 500's for $1500 and less in my area. And getting a used 600 is a toss up 99.9% of used 600's are beat to hell and all my buddys that bought one within a year the second gears goes out
