I don't think you understand what HDR(I) is.
High definition range imaging takes a bunch of pictures at a bunch (5-10+) of different exposures and then merges them into a single photo, giving you a range of lighting effects all in one shot, can look really cool or really odd.
Also, not to highjack the thread, but why hate on the 360?

but yeah the hdr your talking about is the same lighting thing they use in ps3 and suckbox 360 games

just because you think xbox sucks doesnt mean you should go and bash it....i absolutely hate the ps3 because its way over priced...and they cant unleash the full potential of it yet. not worth the extra $200 for something the same quality image as xbox. ill give it that it has blue ray but i have a 26" lcd tv so 720p and 1080p look pretty much the same. btw gta4 is on xbox, dawg

man those pics are awesome. I like mellow HDR's like those, I am not a fan when they get way played out and too cartoony, but those to me look sweet!

fuck the 360 its whack and its a weak ass system. the ps3 is 400 500 bucks only 30 more bucks than the premium 360. 360 is for lame geeks with no lives. Ps3 if the best man, it never breaks, it has the best graphics,(check out uncharted and gt5p the mustang looks sick on it) mgs4 R2 and hella more games are coming out this year, DAWG. fuck your halo 3 shit the shits whack, and cod4 is the best on the ps3 ya diiiiigg, i have a 42inch 1080p 120hrz tv, and 1080p is the best, u cant see 1080p on a 26" tv wtf are u crazy, get a bigger tv and get out of your moms basement.Blu ray looks sick on my tv, really with the 120 running

Silver's a pain in the ass to color swap for some reason, so I just applied a gradient to it..hope it's close enough
