Default Mustangs home is a little nicer now

Prepped it Friday late afternoon, then saturday around 1pm once it warmed up enough here i did the Expoy sheild garage floor coating. It looks baller. Pardon the quality, my camera is dead and the g/f is well not good on auto setting so i found out.

Now i get to put everything back tomarrow once it has cured a bit longer. Thats why it looks so hanus in there right now. My house is just filled with tools etc... now lol.

Looks like the same stuff that we used to coat the floors in the bays at Ccity.. If I was you I'd give it an extra day or so to cure, it got pretty ratty looking within about a month at the store.

looks good though...

Well your supposed to wait 24-48 hours before you put back stuff and im gonna wait till tomorrow night so it can cure more. The shitty part is the mustang has to sit outside my house for 7 days. So it wont be going back in till Saturday night maybe Sunday. That part sucks. That and the fact i have to put back and reorganize everything again. Its all tossed in my hallway into my house or up on the work bench etc.. so ***** everywhere.

I am loving how it looks though. Its one of those things i wanted to do a long time ago.

I forgot to take before pics. But this gives you anidea how haggerd it was. This was 3 years ago and the floor had gotten alot worse.

I need to get to that at my new house. I have used that stuff before and it looks great in person, BUT you need to make sure the floor is prepped properly and you let it cure.

Prep was a pain in the ***. My floor had been painted before with some crappy paint. So per the directions i had to basically wet sand my whole garage floor to ruff it up to make the new coating stick. That part was not very fun. But overall prep wasn't to bad took me 3 1/2 hours i think it was to degrease it 2 times, wet sand the floor and then use their acid wash to etch the ground more.
