for the boyd coddington price of 100,000 more then likely.

I see boyd rims, brake upgrade, blower, intake, interior inserts/painted peices, a 6.5 inch tv, his signature, c pillars, recaro seats, lowered suspention, and im quite sure - exhaust.

eeww it's an automatic. lol. you gotta pay extra to have Boyd even consider doing some work for you. Plus half his crew are either fired or found better boss to work for. :violent1:
And where's that ashole Dewayne at? I'd love to work with him for just ONE day.
He would be sippin his lunch for a few days. LOL :binkybaby

I personally find his show entertaining, but I think it does more harm than good for his business.
From what I can see, he is a ****-poor manager, who is mostly un-involved in the actual making of any of his cars. His crew does not seem to have any great talent, and the better ones have all quit.
I think this Mustang is nothing more than a badging attempt to make some money.
Not that it is a bad idea or a bad car.

Boyd seems never to be around. All the good fabricators and painters have quit because the environment is so abusive. The turn around time Boyd commits to for some cars is ridiculously unrealilistic. Dwayne has a serious anger management problem, and needs professional help. I used to enjoy watching the show, now its nothing more controlled dysfunctionality. There is no way in hell I would let that shop build me any car.
Just my 2c

boyd is an arrogant ******* and dwayne needs psychological help. i would never do any business with him after seeing how his employees are treated. ever.
the skinny guy on boyd's left is eric cheney, the founder/owner of xmp, who will be putting together the cars. his shop has done work on my cobra before. it was a bit expensive, but i can't complain because it was done at the absolute last minute and he squeezed me in even though he had a full shop at the time.
boyd coddington can smoke a lewinski.

Im sorry but the man doesnt even touch the cars. All his workers either get fired or the go work for the real designer, Mr. Foose. Mr. Foose is not only an artist but an awesome car designer and gets involved with the cars and gets his hands dirty.
I wouldnt buy it, just that crappy pinstripe signature is what adds the value. Not for me.

His cars look good and he sure sells alot or parts/wheels/cars/ etc to have a business for as long as he has. Also if you have been at it long enough you dont need to do all the work yourself.
No one unless you worked there has any real idea how his shop is or how well run it is.

He could have at least changed the color. He already did a yellow/silver stripes Mustang. Anybody remember that color Ford put on the Mustangs for 1 year (I think it was 1995) called Sapphire Blue? That would look great on an 05 with the silver stripes.

Ooohh...a Boyd Coddington Signature edition. No one has done that before *cough* Steve Saleen, Jack Roush *cough*
Coddington doesn't deserve the name that he has in the business, if he was really that great Chip Foose would still be working for him.

Yep got a startup picture of the 05 roush http://www.fnsweet.com . On the other topic Boyd does not deserve the great name of the mustang much less put his name on it. If I got that car I would have it repainted and his name no where on the car. If there was two people I could meet that built mustangs that would be carrol shelby and jack roush.

I wonder how much it would cost to make the same modifications to a '05 GT and Skip the stitching and putting his name all over the car...I bet you pay a pretty penny for the name...don't know why, I saw like 2 episodes of that show and was done with it...I'd rather have my car Overhauled than restored at Cottington's garage. Foose kicks ***. :headbang:

You may not think he deserves the name he has but apparently his cars and happy customers think different.

foose left to start his own company, which would be in direct competition with boyd. boyd felt completely betrayed and does all he can to talk as much trash as he can about foose. sad thing is, foose actually gets in there and gets his hands dirty.
that earns my respect MORE than any name recognition ever could.
that and foose designs better looking wheels and cars, and i like overhaulin' much, much better than 'american hot rod'.
