did you use a gt hood, or buy a mach 1 hood? and if I were to set one up, would I have to ditch my K&N CAI unit?

I bought a Mach1 Hood

you can still use your K&n filter and C&l you just have to modify your airbox. they give you instructions and sheet showing how to cut it.
