Took the fuse block for the stereo and mounted it to frame rail. Drilled hole in battery tray and ran power cord up and to battery.

See, just when I stop thinking about it,,,you keep bringing it back up. Haaa.
Thanks guys, Only thing left to do is to run all the gauge wiring through the firewall, find the right fitting for the oil pan temp gauge and throw the motor back in. The wire hiding wasn't as bad as I thought. Even did the hood pop latch through the fender.

Fubar'd my oil pan tonight, anyone have a 302 pan they have no use for??? I'll pay for shipping. Haaaaaaa.

Don't ask!

I'll try to post more pics within a week. I gotta get the motor back in and run these nice pretty wires I re-taped and re-loomed.

Put the jack under it...lol. You might as well get a deep pan to hold more oil seriously

i had an 89 iroc-z before i even had my temps.

Matt: Most of this work was done while I was out on FMLA (otherwise known as baby leave.) I should have made it further, but I told the place where Im ordering my Canton Windage Tray from that I had alot of work to do and didn't need it in a rush. Well, I finished almost everything and here I sit waiting on a windage tray.

However, I went out and droppped another $800 bucks on a new clutch cable, new motor/tranny mounts, tie rod ends, sway bar bushings, clutch, FordRacing valve cover and Hotchkis upper/lower control arms. The car is on jacks right now and I'll tell Spidey to get his suit on and help get these things installed.

I also bought the Unisteer Manual rack (talked to them at the PRI show in Orlando. Decided to use them instead of Flaming River.) and it comes next week. Won an ebay auction and have LX taillights coming so I can get rid of these cheese grater taillights.
