Really bad Accident 911 not for the weak
 

I saw this in another forum but we should all see what happens when you speed through a toll both. You can click on the link below and its just of the scene but at the botton links of that page are really bad pics so be warned.

Why the fvck would you speed through a toll booth...it's hard to try and feel sorry for someone who does that.

Feel bad for the honda driver though

read through the S2K forums there and it appears she was on the side of the road going north and through the flipping and crossing of medians she ended up smacking the outside or exit side of the toll booth on the opposite side of the highway.

what a sad story. what a loss but at least she didnt take anyone else in the accident

i dont know about where you live, but here in miami i see little girls as young as 16 driving SL500's and other crazy cars.

The dumb twat was going 100. Now there is no way you can accidently go over 30 mph over the speed limit. She also was passing on the right. I realize that passing on the right is ok if you're going a little faster than the person in front of you and you can't go around the left side, but she was going ****in' 100. I find it hard to feel sorry for someone with such incompetance.

I saw this on another thread and at first I thought we should close it down here due to the graphic nature of the photos....also out of respect for the family.

As long as people can remain civil....this thread may end up saving a life, so let's let it ride.

Just keep in mind, NO ONE knows the whole story. She could have been chased, she could have had the acellerator stick etc..... we do not know.

BUT the fact is, a young girl was needlessly killed.

Drive smart and drive safe. Young drivers + lack of experience + lack of maturity = bad situations ever day.

Heres a lesson for parents of young drivers

I will have to step in and dissagree with you on this one Greg. You do not know the girl so I think it is wrong to say she was spoiled. Just because someone has a nice car does not mean they are spoiled. Yeah it was a Porshe but she was going no faster than we can in our Mustangs. Maybe if she would have been doing 180 mph we could say something but 100? I am sure many of us go that fast or close to it at some point during the day, week, month. Fact is, we shouldn't call her stupid, spoiled, or dumb twat because we didn't know the girl and we don't know what the situation was. Have a little respect. It's not like she was running from the cops like PureStangs friend that died.

oh...and the guy she hit was drinking and driving. Who is the one we should really call names in this situation? Saying that you are spoiled if you are 18, female, and drive a 911 is like saying if you drive a Honda and are 20 yrs old you are going to drink and drive.

I have to side with you on this one.....read my earlier post. We do NOT know the facts, so we should be careful jumping to conclusions...even ones that might seem obvious.

BUT, I will also add that any teenager that has a high-powered, newer car could easier be called "spoiled" if it was given to them. As apposed to a 17 year-old that saved-up his whole life for one. Being "spoiled" is relative and what one person would think spoiled might not be for someone else.

I also think that parents that buy high-powered cars for teenagers are demostrating a form of child-abuse. This may sound harsh, but I can tell you 100% that this will never happen in my house. Will I teach my girls to drive the stang? Sure. Will I toss them the keys and tell them that it is theirs, no f'in way. They can buy one on their own when they are done with college and have their own jobs.

Behind every parent who utters the words "I trust my kid" is a parent being fooled. Kids should never be trusted, You need to give them space to learn and grow and experience life, but trust....never, not completely. Even the best kids screw-up is given enough latitude.

This young lady could have been an NHS student. She may have even been given the car from her parents because she had survived a life-threatening illness (by the way, I know a kid personally who at 15 was given a Mustang by his parents. He died from cancer a year later). We don't know her situation. We just know that she was going fast, in fast car, and is know dead.

Cars are the #1 killer of kids in this country.

They definatly should not have put her spoiled ass behind a 911. (sorry slither, 18? 911? sorry, spoiled. but that aint the point)

I agree with greg on this. There is absolutly no way an 18 yr old girl is going to be responsible and mature enough to handle a porsche 911.

Either way, whats done is done, sucks for her... hope her family is coping well. probably not though, it doesent get much worse than that. Honestly i think her parents should think good and long about the car they gave her. Why not a Camry? or something safe? a 911 is in no way what would be called a safe car unless it is in the hands of an experienced driver who knows how to handle such a car. Even then,....

I think it is kinda crappy that the pics of her all splattered about are all over the internet, her family doesent need to see that, neither do her friends.

but hopefully somebody will see that and think twice about recklessly hitting high speeds.

You make some valid points, but kids die every day in hondas and cavalier's. Sure, the risk is higher in sports cars....hence the high insurance rates. But, all cars are death-traps in the wrong hands.

I did hear on another post that it was her dad's car and she took it w/o asking. Father may have actually been chasing her and was first on the scene.

Shouldnt have happened, without all the facts i have a hard time blaming the parents, but the fact that she was driving a 911 is without a doubt a mitigating circumstance.

i know when i was a kid if i wanted to go somewhere bad enough, i would have went.

There comes a time where people have to accept repsonsibility to thier own actions. she is 18, young, but none the less, she isnt a 10 year old either. She is legally an adult.

I think the parents certainly diddnt help by providing the opportunity to haul ass in a 911, weather or not she had permission.

In the end though, it was HER STUPID ASS that decided to drive freaking 100mph and ended up losing control.

Her parents diddnt help the situation, but the BLAME is on her. It is HER fault, she made her own decisions and i cannot blame the parents for this, However they definatly contributed by either A) giving her a 911, or B) not locking up the keys to thier car if she stole it.

parents only have so much control dude. They might have made poor decisions, but SHE is the one who ended up killing herself.

Dont cheapen the parents parental skills because thier daughter made a stupid decision unless all the facts are valid.

The KID made the choice to STEAL the car and killed herself.

Blaming the parents for that is just completely mind-boggling.. Kids get away with too much shit, they want to be called adults so they should be dealt with like adults.

That's like YOU getting kicked out of school for what YOU did, then turning it around and blaming your parents because they didn't 'raise you right.' Did you do that? I certainly hope not...

Well..seeing as I'm still a kid.. I can say this..

You DO NOT give a kid a porsche, you don't let them borrow it.. you don't even tell them where the keys are.

We like to go fast, extremely fast.

Just like most of you Stang owners.

Theres is one major difference, however.

Experience. Knowing when you can haul ass, and knowing when there is a time to have some caution.

This past weekend, I drove past a wreck on a stretch of highway called "Blood Alley" drove past seeing a brand new Vette torn to shreds, and blood still left on the asphault.

She may have been in a fight with her parents, mommy or daddy may have just let her take the car out for the night and she went to a party or something..

Regardless, it is not only her parents fault (if they allowed her to take it) but it is her fault.

She may have been getting chased or something, but honestly, is whoever is chasing you going to hop out of their car at lets say..30 miles an hour and catch you? No.

She could've waited to give that thing some power.

She could've gotten in a fight with her parents, but regardless, that is NO excuse to take off in a car, and go putting many other peoples lives at risk, just because YOU are upset.

This is a case of immaturity, and possibly, being a bit spoiled.

A mechanical malfunction may have happened, accelerator stuck, ect, but how likely is that? You spend 100+ grand on a car...how often does the accelerator stick?

Yes, I was somewhat given my Stang, well, half of it, the other half I'm paying, and yes, I do like to go fast, but I use caution. And I don't drive if I'm upset, being upset can cause a life ending mistake..

At least she didn't feel a thing when she crashed!!!!

The pics were pretty graphic,but in my 10yrs as a cop the worse I saw was a crotch rocket smacking the back of a dump truck at 100+! Talk about a fly hitting a windshield! The gas tank was almost as flat as a piece of paper. His head and healmet (what wa left of it) was INSIDE his chest cavity. The only way FHP knew it was a male was due to one of his "boys" hanging out his jeans when they ripped open. Now that was a doozy!!!
