What a good opportunity to take some pics. I also cleaned my car for the first time in about a year, so she's actually looking pretty good.
Tell me what you guys think. They had to be resized to make them fit, but full size they look incredible.

My entire set up is in that link in my sig.

My rear suspension is: X2C boxer upper and lowers, Eibach Sportline springs, Lakewood 50/50 Drag shocks and 315/50-15 BFG Drag Radials. I'll be going to the track for the first time with this set up on Friday night, so I'll let you know how it works out. Probably won't really launch too hard since my rear is stock and the axle tubes aren't welded yet, but I should be able to get a few low 11 second passes out of it.

Before it goes boom, lol.

You can't take the car to the track...it's all clean...you'd get burnt rubber everywhere.

Shoulda got a black one...they're the best anyways :thefinger

J/K man...looks great...I love the rims.

Yeah, it's gonna be tuff getting it all covered in balck crap, but it'll be worth it if I can get it to do what I built it to do. A whole winter of building, spending, modding, spending some more and then spending a little more all comes down to this day. Hmmmm, I think I may be getting cold feet.

Don't chicken out, I abuse my poor car every week at the track. It's always covered with rubber and VHT on the back.

Go ahead and launch it at 6k you know you want to, all the other guy's do it. Drag racing peer pressure it's hard to deal with.

I just keep breaking it. :evil6: The more it sits, the less likely it is to get dirty. :glasses10
Seriously, I'm a bit on the obsesive side. Everytime I wash it, I clean the engine and pollish all the aluminum.

Yeah it's called a set of FRPP 31 spline axles and a Trac Loc from the old Liberty Ford.
Oh were you talking about the obsesive problem. :hippy2:

Pink??? That's red and it has a devil on it. Only straight men have devils on their batteries. :thefinger

I got the rear fixed and I'm going in for round 2 on Tuesday night. Who's in???

Anyway, here is the actual carnage. It wasn't a broken axle like I thought, it was shredded spyder gears.

Yeah I ended up going with the Detroit TrueTrac instead of a spool or the Trac Loc. I must say that so far I am very impressed.
