nice...those are the H&R SS? I have the H&R race springs on my 03 and love them. I had the SS on my 01 cobra vert and it was a little to low and would bottom out on some roads. They will give your car a good stance.

Yo, E. I guess i will drive down to the lone star state, so you can help me put my lower control arms on. I might mess around and let a rear spring jump out and bust me in the head.

Sport Navy Blue part number 51650 Super Sport Bright Blue part number 51652.77 http://www.maximummotorsports.com/HRsprings.asp The MT link for ordering says "Sport Springs", but it list the same drop as Super Sports: Front: 1.75” Rear: 1.6” The part number on the box and the springs is 51652.77. I'm guessing I got Super Sports??? |
My buddy got the same one's you did.His look's a little bit lower in the front than mine but he still has the stock wheel's on it.

I am planning on ordering the H&R SS springs soon. I want the car lowered now, but alot of people say I should wait until I can buy other things like Steeda Ball Joints and a Bump Steer Kit.....
Thats why I havent had mine lowered because it may hurt handling characteristics and it seems like the suspension would be under stress. Is this right? I know that ALOT of guys just put the springs in and forget about it, but is that the right thing to do? |

I know that ALOT of guys just put the springs in and forget about it, but is that the right thing to do? i got the H&R SS and i got MM caster/camber plates, steeda bumpsteer, and steeda x2 balljoints..i also got tokico illumina 5-way adjustables...if i could go back in time, i wouldve gone with a bullit suspension kit or H&R Sport kit and saved me some cash....oh well, just be prepared to spend a little extra if you go with the Supersports(i spent right around 800 - 900) |
I wish I had done their starter box (Max Motorsports) Comes with bilsteins, supersports, c/c plates, isos, basically EVERYTHING you need to set it and forget it.
And Lance, dont make me sick myfast on your ass...Myfast doesnt get along with "fancy" people... |
