Default '01 Cobra bumper

Well Instead of buying on 03 cobra bumper again, I was considering getting an 01...I think it looks mean, and it doesnt have that huge gap for the 03/04 cobra heat exchanger, which just shows the radiator on our cars...I did this chop, what do you think? (note: I also chopped some c-pillars on it, because I'm going to get some)

They are ok. I like the one you have MUCH better. But still the older one is not a bad choice.

i don't know, i think i'm a fan of the 01.

...and it looks like you chopped the louvered style c pillars, those are awesome i've been debating those for a while now. they are kinda pricy though.

I like it better with the 01......Gives you a nice sleek look without the huge cobra look....your right about that gap issue

Eh, I dunno Jon, I just love the 03 spoiler, but at the same time, the 01 spoiler looks so great. One advantage to the 01 is that you can get one PAINTED from www.bumpers.com for like 280 bucks, dont know about fog lights, but its at least the bumper.

stick with the 03 cobra bumper it looks MUCH better IMO. Well I guess if you had the 01 bumper then you would have to put the 01 bumper on the rear too....

Less bulkier than the 03 bumper. I like the 01.

Just get a maverick grill guard. I think you'll benefit more from it.

If you're gonna stick with your GT hood, then get the 01. But if I were you I'd get a new 03 bumper and then a better hood, like the Steeda cowl.

I agree, the 03 would look sweet with a cowl. The only way i like the 03 on a gt is if you match the side skirts and spoiler up with it

Ditto. I think it was in the "Baddest Mach Ever" thread. The DSG Mach with the '03 bumper had the inserts and it looked pretty damn sweet IMO.
That was in pictures though, may look diff. in person.

Badfish- yours isn't too noticible but if it bothers you then hey, it's your car. The 01 bumper looks mean too but to me not enough different than stock GT to change. inserts and call it a day!

I think the 01 cobra bumper looks WAAYY better with the stock GT hood with teh scoop. Gives it that mean look. The 03/04 cobra bumper is just too rounded and has that hole like you said. It Looks funny without a hood to go with it. Here's mike hourns car with the cowl, and my buds with the stock GT hood.
