Arrow Aloha from Hawaii!!!

Hi, I'm new to these forums and although I don't have a Mustang yet, I do plan on purchasing a used '99-'01 GT within the next few months. I have a few questions that I'd like to ask... I am a college student buying my first car and I don't know anything at all

I would really like to put a body kit on my Mustang, but I am worried that it would lower the car too much. Here in Honolulu there are hills and speed bumps and whatnot all over the place. I was wondering what kind of impact on driving a body kit would have. I am considering the Kaminari kit.

Also, how much do you think I should expect to pay to have a shop put the body kit on the car? I am also considering new exhaust pipes and a cold air intake kit that I would probably need someone else to install as well.

Mahalo for your time and replies.

Welcome. I would do some nice bolt-on's first then worry about the body kit. Make sure you pick a good one though, there are some god-awful one's out there. The one you mentioned sounds a little ricey to me.

Welcome.Yea the Kaminari would'nt be my first choice but you should be fine unless you lower it.Try and stay away from the fiberglass kit's,they break real easy.

Thanks for the advice. I like the Kaminari kit because it has a clean look, but what other types of body kits (urethane) would you recommend?

The one you mentioned sounds a little ricey to me.
lol, everyone is a ricer in Honolulu.. At least I'm not buying a Honda

Oh yeah, I'm looking for a turbocharger for my future stang. What is your opinion on this? Where can I buy one online, and how easy is it to install??
