Welcome and damn, another Florida member.haha Since you already posted a pic of yourself, I guess we won't have the majority of the forum saying picsorban of yourself. Nice car by the way.

My mind is blown.....
Nice to see a fellow Cobra owner. First one I've seen with 03 Cobra wheels on it though. Looks pretty damn clean.

I haven't been to any lately, but I usually go to the Palm Beach Mustang Club meets, and also sometimes meet up with the SSF or SFS guys.

haha thanks, guys! more pics? Damn, didn't know you liked my car THAT much! :P lol
Well basically I started off with installing a 70mm master power/garrett mutt, was almost done with the hot side and my b/f ended up needing my turbo for a customer's car (he fabricates custom turbo kits). So We ended up trading turbo's, I got the customer's turbo that was too big for his car, and the customer got my turbo. So now I have to tear apart the current kit to change locations of the turbo. The 'new' one is a large frame 74mm ball bearing garrett (t4 exhaust).
My car as it sits has a gt short block with the 4v heads on it (previous owner blew the motor and swapped short blocks, and I didn't know until I took the blower off and saw an iron block lol), so I am going to install the turbo with this motor in the car to get all the tweaks taken care of, then I have an aluminum teksid block at the shop with a steel cobra crank, manley rods and bore 30 over, just gotta get some diamonds for it. I'll be running on the wastegate spring at about 8-10 lbs of boost till the new motor goes in the car.
The MAIN holdup right now is getting my daily running so we can put the Cobra back in the shop to finish the turbo.

That sounds like a plan. I have two friends that went the Hellion route and each of them blew up. One blew up on the rollers at 12 pounds of boost and the other blew up at a local track, trying out for "Pinks". His was an 09 CS with 2300 miles on it. He was running 15 pounds of boost. Hes still crying after 2 weeks. His scattered stuff all over the place.
Both of them had stock 3v motors with very low mileage and payment books
Good luck with your setup.
