Late Introduction
Well, I got so caught up in trying to figure out the plan for my mustang and future mustangs that I forgot to introduce myself
My name is Garrett, as you probably guessed, and I recently purchased a 2009 sixxer:
My first car was a '97 Grand Prix which was my get-to-school/work car for 5 years. I'm 20 years old now and want to get into drag/racing which has been a lifelong goal of mine since I was a wee little kid. I have loved Mustangs since I was 11 and my 33yr old cousin took me for a ride in his restored 1969 fastback. So getting the classic looking 2009 made my dream come true. Now I want to get a '09 GT in a few years when I can afford it and mod the f*ck out of it (unless the 2012's look better..)
I went to college for one semester right out of high school aiming towards a degree in software engineering. Didn't learn anything in the software engineering courses I had that I didn't already know and wasn't dedicated enough in the other courses so I dropped it. Plus it was costing like 4.5k a semester and at the time I couldn't afford it. I do plan on going back to college in the near future.
My hobbies include:
- programming anything and everything for any use
- playing video games (mostly fps/rpg/rts)
- working on/driving the stang
- and hanging out with friends doing whatever
all the rest of my time is spent with my girlfriend or at work making $$ to support my needs
I was born and raised in Texas, specifically the DFW area.
I speak German and Spanish and know a few words or phrases in 4 other languages and am fluent in over 9 programming languages.
Also I have a short fuse when it comes to retards on the roadways and generally let them KNOW somehow, unless my girlfriend is with me because she gets really mad..
/end insomnia
