i heard the 302 motor has higher top end speed capabilities. and it's easier and cheaper to find and buy. but do i have to reweld new motor mounts?

i bet silversteed. i cant stand having a v6, no offense to v6 lovers. i didnt know much about mustangs until i bought this one. i wana take pride in my ride but my car is all show and no go.....and i dont wana waste time and money boosting up power to a v6 when it will never match a v8.

It is definatly possible. Where are you located? I know a guy who does this kind of thing. He actually put a 5.0 crate motor in his V6 Ranger. The thing is absolutely disgusting fast. I have had him do work on my car. He is good and specalizes in Ford V8 motors.
