FS: Alpine CDA-9886 CD Receiver
For those of you that saw my previous car, the white '00, you may have saw that I installed an Alpine head-unit after I was rear-ended. Well I then totaled that car and I'm opting for a double-DIN unit rather than this.
Before going any further, please keep in mind this unit was only used for about *four* months. I've never sold anything here, but you guys can see that I take care of my things and do my research before I buy something. I simply just want to go with a double-DIN video unit and now will be the best time to sell this. The Mach system is fine for me at the moment.
Unit was used with my iPod and I must say I absolutely loved the interface. Everything was repackaged in the factory box come winter time and stored safely inside within a large zip-lock bag. I'm picky like that.
The turn wheel on these units are known to stick and I received a brand-new faceplate from Crutchfield shortly after I bought the unit; it now works flawlessly. Comes with everything seen below including the mounting sleeve plus the appropriate wiring harness which is wired for a New Edge w/out either of the Mach systems (separate CD and AM/FM receiver) and a black pocket to fill the thus unneeded CD player in the bottom slot of the dash.
Unit was bought from Crutchfield new at $300. I am asking $225. I feel this is a good starting price considering the time or lack of that the receiver was actually in my car. You can see it on Crutchfield.com still here: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-vT0D2Kx...-CDA-9886.html
I am open to bargaining but don't low-ball me. I know they are going for cheaper, but this is about as new as you can get.
