Bullitt Pedals Instructions

Components:

* Accelerator Pedal
* Brake Pedal
* Clutch Pedal
* Dead Pedal

Tools Required:

* 13mm Socket w/Ratchet
* Flat Screwdriver
* Liquid dish soap (as lubricant)
* Trim/Body Fork Tool

MUSTANG BULLITT PEDAL INSTRUCTIONS

Remove Stock Pedals:

Remove the stock dead pedal cover, held on by plastic clips, by inserting a body fork tool (or flat screw driver) between the plastic pedal and the metal backing bracket and prying up at clip area.

Remove the stock brake and clutch pedal covers by pulling rubber cover off of the metal pedal assembly.

Remove the stock accelerator pedal by removing the accelerator cable form the top end of the accelerator pedal assembly. Remove the two 13mm nuts that hold the accelerator pedal assembly to the floor and remove assembly from vehicle. Using a punch and hammer, drive the pin that holds the plastic pedal to the metal assembly out of the plastic pedal, stopping before driving the pin out of the metal assembly.

Installing Bullitt Pedals:

Install the Bullitt accelerator pedal to the stock metal accelerator assembly in the exact same way the stock pedal was attached. Drive the pedal retaining pin through the mounting hole on the back of the Bullitt pedal securing Bullitt pedal to accelerator assembly. Re-install accelerator assembly into vehicle and tighten 13mm nuts. Reinstall accelerator cable.

Install the Bullitt brake and clutch pedals over the metal pedal assemblies in the exact same way the stock pedal covers are attached. Place the Bullitt Pedal onto the metal assembly starting at the top of the Pedal. Place the rubber lip of the Bullitt Pedal over the edge of metal assembly, working down each side of Pedal toward bottom, work the rubber lip of Bullitt Pedal over the edge of metal assembly. The rubber lip of the Bullitt Pedal MUST be over the edge of the metal assembly all of the way around metal assembly. To aid in the installation of the Bullitt Pedals use liquid dish soap to lubricate the rubber of the brake/clutch pedals.

NOTE: The use of a flat screwdriver or 90-degree probe may help in attaching brake and clutch pedal covers, BUT be careful not to damage rubber lip of Bullitt Pedal Cover.

Install the Bullitt Dead Pedal Cover onto metal bracket by aligning tabs on Bullitt Pedal Cover with the holes in the metal bracket and pushing tabs into holes until they are locked into place.

Normally you just pull off the stock covers and you will be able to use the brackets and screws to mount it to the pedals. When I get home tonight I will see if I still have the instructions to mine and I will post it up for ya

Billet Pedal Kit for Standard Transmissions 1987-2004 from www.uprperformance.com and they tell you to remove the rubber cover excluding the gas and dead pedal so do you just drill through the rubber and all on those?
