Default Raptor Shiftlight Install?

Anybody have their own write up on this? the one off of their website makes me mad. My check engine light keeps coming on after installing it and I emailed me and he said he's almost positive it's not the light that's causing it. well wtf.. I take it off and the SES is off. The code it throws says the fuel pump is disabled when obviously it's not

So its sounds like they didnt offer you much support... That suxs. I read another post thats the same thing was happening. There has to be someone out there that knows why this happens, and what the fix is.

well he did tell me something to try.. which the light has 2 different wires, he basically told me to hook just 1 up and see if it threw the code.. unfortunately I don't have the time to do this right now.

Well then I'm going to wait or get an Autometer.Maybe Raptor will see this and work out some directions that won't cause CEL's.This is why I write in to these sites. This thread has possibly saved me and lots of others a big PITA.Thanks to csledd and all the other posters.

I have 1 in my car and love it, I never had any problems with the light except my fuel gauge keeps on going down everytime my shift light goes off at 5800 rpms I bought 1 for my brother for his saleen and we can't get it to work right when the key is turned on it flashes "test" than when you start the car it keeps on flashing really quick I need to call rick so he can help us troubleshoot this thing. But the light gets 2 thumbs up from me.
