Default header and sound

If I add BBK long tubes on top of BBK o/r h pipe and american thunder, will the headers change the sound of the setup? I was told that the headers dont make much sound difference, and possibly reduce the sound, is this true??

I would say absolutely they would change it. I don't know if they would exactly make the sound more "raspy" or "crisp" or "smooth" or w/e you want to use. From my personal experience they just magnify the sound not change it. So it would just become louder. Don't write a book about that, maybe my set-up was just unique, I have SLP

good point with the idle, Mine really isnt that "loud" at idle, but does have that deeper note that was noted. Truthfully though, I would of waited to do them until later, would of used the money towards a blower.
