Today as i was at the car wash i was going through u know the ones with the track with the rollers on it that push your car along anyway i was in the car going through and just as i am about to pull out i hear a loud banging sound it seemed as the steel plate at the end of the car wash track was open and my car bottomed outand messed up my front courter panel and the door would not open properly anyway that wasnt the bad part as i was waiting for a manager to come and look at the damages he told me that it was my fault and that he would not fill out a incident report or give me the owners name or insurance info because he said i took off too early which i told him its not that hard the green light that says go comes on you go and the one that says wait well the green light was on and so i started to roll out then all this shizt happened well i went to bestbuy to buy a disposposable camera to take pics of all their signs and on all of them it does not say anywhere in plain view that they are not responsible for damages if they occur its not that bad but it is noticable to me and it wasnt like that before i went into the carwash anyway im gonna claim to my insurance and sue them to get the money back that i have to spend mainly the deductible to fix my car

That's why you wash your car by hand! I went to one of those car washes with a friend of mine and there was a big open hole where you drive in and an expedition had fallen in and totally ruined the driverside wheel well and side panel...it was horrible.

Man, sorry to hear that happened to your ride.
I wanted to wash my girl up today, when i noticed they took away the warter hose from the car wash area in my complex. Your experience makes me think twice about going through one of those auto washes.

I feel your pain, but you are hosed. The manager is actually right. If I were you I would talk to your insurance company. They will cover the damage and then go after the owner of the car wash. However, they most likely will not as it is simply not worth the effort. You can't make them go after the car wash either.

You could sue the car wash, but you will spend more money than it is worth and all the owner has to show is one little sign that you used the car wash at your own risk and the case is closed. To win this you have to show clear-cut negligance. My advice to you is to cut your losses and just forget thge whole thing. Get whatever money you can from insurance and get on with life. Bumped fenders, scratches and dings are all part of owning a car.

To avoid spending the money, you might find a shop that won't charge the deductable.

That's just horrible man...
If you were at the gas station I work at I would have cried, and then went and got you the necessary paperwork. However, I could see where the manager is coming from, but I'd ask to see the security tape footage. The camera's don't lie.

(this is in NO WAY directed at whoever started this post. This is a stupid people in general rant)
On a side note, working at a gas station with an INCREDIBLY good and INCREDIBLY expensive car wash attached, you wouldn't believe the amount of STUPID people we have come in and ignore all the signs that say "WAIT FOR ATTENDENT." they just pull in, either gouge the **** outta their rims, park on the rollers get out and put in their code, leave their vehicle in park and wonder why their car isn't moving and what that clanking noise is, or park where the rollers come out and **** up the track so it has to be repaired. Then they complain about their vehicle being damaged or not getting cleaned or some other BS. well sorry about your $100 factory rim, but you just busted our $30 MILLION dollar car wash because you DIDN'T FOLLOW DIRECTIONS!!!! Plus you add the people who don't know how to use the pumps. It tells you EXACTLY what to do on the little screen. Don't come in and yell at me because you're a moron.

on a more humorous note, when you use the restroom at a gas station, PLEASE don't s*** ON TOP of the toilet seat...20 years of pooping and I have NEVER managed to do this. I HATE STUPID PEOPLE!!! sorry about the long rant.

Yeah, your best bet would be for you to forget about the incident man. You'll save yourself some money if you do. Thats what i would do and always wash your car yourself or go to those places that wash it for you. On a side note: I would go give the manager a piece of my mind.
