I recently bought my first mustang gt it’s an 02 and I was wondering how much it would cost to build the engine for it to handle 750-800 hp

 

It would cost a ton that would mean rebuilding the shortblock with forged internals cost can reach up to 5k just for that if you have someone build it. Then you'll need a good set of heads and cams profiled for supercharger/boost that can cost up to 5k if a shop installs. Rear gears $600 stall if you have an auto easily $1000 fuel related components to supply that type of hp could cost $1000 full exhuast looking at about $1500 then you'll need a supercharger kennebell cost almost 6k as you can see a build like this would cost upwards of 15k if you got the money good get at it. But if I was you I would simply do gears bolt on mods with good set of heads and cams and be at about 340whp not super fast but fun to drive and can keep up with alot these mustang's dont weigh alot so that helps. Another thing you could do is just get a supercharger and heads and cams n get 430whp anything over 450whp on stock shortblock is looking for trouble. Prices I mentioned arent exact but I'm sure thier close these cars are expensive to build just go after decent power and loud and sounding good and have fun lol
