It was a fidanza flywheel and the throw-out bearing and pilot bearing came with the clutch kit from UPR I don't know what brand it was a complete kit with clutch cable and quadrant I didnt put a new shifting fork in when the old bearing went out it fell apart in my hand when I went to remove it from the shifting fork thank for the help

I have read on numerous accounts in alot of different forums of people having limited life on non OEM throwout bearings. I hate for this to sound like a cop out but there may be some truth to the matter. The only other thing I can think of is having it adjusted a little tight.

As far as the flywheel goes, it could have some hot spots on it, just depends on you driving style. Does your flywheel the replacable friction plate? I would look closely at this when you tear it down to repair.

A Spec or CenterForce is a nice setup.

NEVER, and I mean NEVER use anything but the FRPP throw-out bearings and/or the McLeod. After all of the posts on SVTP those seem to be the only two options that are worth it.

That should fix your issue.

I have the bearing that was included in the clutch kit from SPEC and it has always had a slight squeel since the 500 mile break-in period. I was just wondering if it should be replaced or what? I don't mind it much, but it is kind of annoying. To the OP, just replace the bearing with FRPP.
