So mil will fix it ... very cool

If I'm not mistaken, that code is for the front O2, on the passenger side. Sounds like you're more than likely gonna have to replace it.

That code is saying the front passenger O2 sensor's heater circuit is toast. Either you have a break in the wiring (unlikely) or the sensor is done. Replace the sensor.

Thanks guys i just don't want to spend a ton of money getting this horse on it's feet . Would this sensor problem make it run and idle like SH@*?. AND WHAT KIND BOSH OR NGK

Morgan The Black 05-22-2010 03:16 AM

Yeah it wont run worth a damn, Most people suggest going with Ford for the O2. When I got one for mine, it was about the same price if not alittle cheaper.

the rear o2's just check cat efficiency, the fronts actually do the meat of running the engine (together with the MAF). Replace and then disconnect battery for 10 mins. then drive around for 1 hour. Done.

Don't run any o2 sensors other then FORD OEM ones. There have been some studies that show the aftermarket ones suck. www.rockauto.com has the best prices on oem motorcraft o2 sensors that I have found so far.

If you're not running cats, the rear O2's are pointless.
