Eibach pro-kit VS. Ford springs

I was wondering which springs lower the car more. Does Ford Racing have other springs other than the "C" springs? If so, do they lower the car more or less than the Cs. Thanx.

Steeda lowers it 1 1/4, c springs are 3/4.

Badfish 06-16-2005 11:09 AM

3/4s??? Mustang tuning states:

"These Ford Racing Springs (C-Springs) will lower your car 1"-1.25". This will give your car an agressive stance and it will also give your car a lower center of gravity making your car handle better. Ford Racing Springs fit all Mustangs 79-04 (except 99+ cobra). Lowers car approximately 1"-1.25"."

The claim made for 1.25 inch drop was for Fox Bodied 'stangs. The C springs will drop an SN-95 'stang 3/4 to 7/8 of and inch.

what!?!? so i only payed for a 3/4 to 7/8 drop that pisses me the **** off, it doesnt state that on the page MT sells them....thats bull****

Sorry to get you bent!! I am mistaken. :confused1 I just checked My FRPP catalog and found that C-Springs will lower a 94-04 GT 1 1/8 inch in the front and 3/4 inch in the rear.

I like the drop my H&R sport springs gave my Stang.Right around 1 1/2 all the way around.Any lower it would be a bitch getting around some of these bad streets we have around here.I think 1 1/2 would be the way to go.

Ford springs and H&r's all give the raked look, Eibach pro kit give you the same drop all the way around. Ford C springs are strange springs...........they look really good on some cars but then on some mustangs it looks like stock, and sometime I've seen the front settle alot but then the rear dose'nt and looks like a cat in heat! I would stay away from the ford springs....remember you get what you pay for!!!!!!!!!!

Are these the "Sport" springs...or the "Super Sport" Springs. Some websites list the different tiers of H&R springs differently. What are the springrates for the ones you purchased? Do you have any pics? And have you taken it to the dragstrip to see how you're 60ft times were affected.

I've been looking around and I've seen car's with the H&R SS springs, and the look is PERFECT. A website lists that the H&R sport springs give the exact same drop, but with less stiff spring rates.

Thanks in advance

Philip K.

Thanks, just what I was looking for. Those wheels are 17in correct? If so, I think that's just the look im going for. But we shall see. But I'll need some wheel spacers for the back.

Thanks again...that's a sweet looking GT.

Phil

Dont expect to get the H&R sports anytime soon. They have been on backorder for months now. I got the steeda sports. They look perfect to me, cant wait to get them in.

Lightning247 06-20-2005 09:20 PM

Don't worry...I have connections ;)

My wheels are 18's,you wont need a spacer if you get the 10's.I had some H&R spacers on my other setup and they made the new wheels stick out to far.Thanks.
