Go with long tubes. Shorties aint worth all the hassle but long tubes are.

yes, L/Ts are pricey...but at least they're not a waste. would you rather waste $300 for shorties, or save and spend $600 for something that will actually make a dramatic difference?
my next mod is a set of MAC L/Ts, followed by pypes x-pipe (with cats), then top it all off with SLP Loudmouth 1s!

yah, i mean sure you'd have more money left after slopping on shorites. but in order to really get the joy of that first crank up and feeling the difference....you'll be glad you got the L/Ts!
repost with results man.... and i wanna know what the sounds combo is like? i love the SLP sound, but is it too much? i mostly drive around town, but a few times a year i go home for breaks, and that's an 8 hours hall! is it headache inducing? do you have to shout over it to passengers?

I would not reccomend SLP's to anyone. I had the SLP LM1 and when I got my O/R X pipe I had it on for about 2 months and then switched to the SLP Power Flow mufflers...Much happier with the sound. I have Bassani headers as well and they sound awesome =D

The SLP Loud Mouth One sound great for about 3 months then the inside noise drives you crazy especially crusing on the Hwy. SLP Powerflow much better on the ears while crusing.

The shorties are no different than the stock exhaust manifold. The lt's will give way better performance if you go with forced induction. I have the BBK Lt's, BBK o/r h pipe, and SLP LM. Sounds sick with a blower and cams...
