KN Intake

+1.
I got the K&N FPIK on my 04gt, honestly, a new filter and silencer removal would have yielded the same perfomance.'
keep in mind, the mustang was already built for speed. Not blinding speed but $25K V8 speed.
Various upgrades like Intake, plenum, tb, etc, the aftermarket parts are great parts for sure, however, the stock stuff aint too shabby either, so the gain isnt all that much.
save up and get 4:10's put in. those will put a smile on yer face and no they dont kill gas mileage, the MPG loss isnt more than 1-2MPG tops...

and it does suck
literally. you hear a big inhaling sucking noise.
I like the kit. If you really want a full CAI kit i would highly reccommend the FPIK

I'm assuming by his user name he has an 01 cobra.....I had the KN FIPK on my mach and I'm pretty sure I got 8rwhp out of it.....Can't tell for sure because I added a cat back and mid pipe right before taking it to the dyno. I'd say on 2v's the intake doesn't do much, but I think the 4v gets a little gain out of it.
Either K&N FIPK or JLT.
